This major Law Firm renowned for its outstanding service to national and international clients, have a great career opportunity within their Private Wealth/Private Client/Family Marketing & BD team.

This varied and fast paced role will see you drive strategic-level support across the practice with an international focus and ensuring the firms BD and Marketing activities align with the firms ambitious 2025/30 business plans.

Key responsibilities:

Work closely with the Head of BD, practice group head / international leaders to devise and drive forward the Marketing / BD strategy helping shape client relationships, enhance market profile and win new business for this key area.

Develop and embed campaigns and activities that enhance the practice’s reputation in key segments of the market – innovation projects, brand identity, thought leadership.

Initiate and implement revenue generating activities focused on identified client opportunities nationally and internationally.

Identify and interpret market/client trends converting them into actionable campaigns, client conversations and sales opportunities.

Manage and grow relationships with key national accounts and intermediary relationships and ‘best friend firms’

Encourage, develop, and ‘empower’ team members to own projects, engage in client development activities and build personal relationships with fee earners.

Shared management responsibility for the leadership and development of the BD team.

Identify and interpret market/client trends converting them into actionable campaigns, client conversations and sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate:

Sound commercial awareness and a good understanding of business development and marketing principles ideally gained within an international professional services firm.

Experience of managing, influencing and gaining the confidence of senior stakeholders and colleagues.

Strong analytical skills and be comfortable using market/client insights to drive growth initiatives and further enhance reputations of individuals and the wider practice/firm

Proven people management and development skills.

A team player with a passion and ambition to develop a real competitive advantage in this exciting marketplace.

Legal sector and / or Private Wealth/Private Client/Family expertise is desirable but not essential for interview.
